The article says that the effect can't be absorbed by a Grounding Totem (which any shaman should know from the tooltip), but doesn't see if the fear effect can be removed by a Tremor Totem, which is what most shamans will be pulling out when they're expecting fear. --User:Konros

On Ally side, have a paladin assigned for each priest. The priest might stay within the fear range, but the designated paladin keeps out of that range.. if M. fears, all paladins decurse their priest first, then the rest of the raid.. go back to positions afterwards. Side effect: the pal can heal up the priest, so priests can concentrate on the MT.--Thundor 07:58, 26 April 2006 (EDT)
