Dude, this guy looks nothing like a Draenei. Mr.X8 02:30, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

Well, the model used on him is of a common orc... And by half-draenei I thought it was a mix of human and draenei (I guess is the fault of reading too much half-elves histories...). Anyway, seems an "affair" between an orc and a draenei, but Blizzard too lazy to make small "retouches" to those controversial models (sigh). Ravenore 21:44, 22 July 2007 (-1 GMT)
Well, it is also not very resource-effecient to create an entire new model for a single character. In addition to making it "look right" it also means more system resources have to be allocated to making space for it, which means longer load times. Considering that this game streams content as it goes, its load-time is probably very tightly budgeted. While they might do this for particularly noteworthy characters from the Warcraft series to distinguish them, it is a little much to do it for just one quest-giver NPC. Of course, they could also justify it in-universe by saying that Orc genes tend to be dominant. - Fearless Son 19:39, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

They could have done better then reusing Rend's model. It wouldn't be hard to color an orc blue or a draenei green. Zarnks 04:34, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Agreed. But IMHO, they should have at least given him a vestigial tail. And maybe some barbels and/or forehead ridges. And possibly—if not hooves—at least troll-style feet. Heck, it would have been an improvement if he was just bright blue (possibly with glowing eyes) instead of an indifferent sort of "battleship gray" (with flat white eyes).
Even so, if the orc was his mama, you can't really blame her... —Qit el-Remel 05:36, 25 November 2007
Look at Arator, the half-elf son of Turalyon and Alleria, he looks like any other High/Blood Elf. Blizz just hasn't created models for them yet. Bubba The Crazed (talk) 15:14, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
"Yet" is the word in question here. Yes, he ought to have a tail and/or glowing eyes (like with Garona and Me'dan, though they aren't in the game AFAIK), but Blizzard haven't gotten around to it, as with a lot of other stuff. Gilneas and Kul'Tiras have mysteriously vanished off the face of the world, because they aren't that important (or so the people from Blizzard think). One can only hope that they will at least make a skin with the glowing eyes. Like they did with trolls during the WotLK Alpha, which by the way hinted very strongly at the troll -> night elf ancestry. Throan Loremaker (talk) 20:48, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

Weapon

You can't really tell from the picture, and I haven't been in nagrand for sometime, but I seem to remember his weapon being identical to the blackhand doomsaw, not the hellreaver.Tweak the Whacked 06:43, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
