Moving the page

I suggest making the Jailer page a redirect to The Jailer (or a redirect to Zovaal if The Jailer does get moved to Zovaal), and moving this page to Jailer (demon).

I think that, specially at this point in time and moving forward, with people playing Shadowlands and not Legion (which is 4 years old now), that people searching for "Jailer" (or linking to the https://wow.gamepedia.com/Jailer URL) are 100% likely to be looking for the Jailer, and not the race of demons called jailers. And therefore, the Jailer may deserve that namespace.

Even myself as a Wowpedia editor, I found it rather counterintuitive: I wanted to go to the Jailer's page so I typed "Jailer", and I ended up on a demon's page.

While "Zovaal" may be his real name, 99% of the time he is called the Jailer and so it sticks way more, like people searching for "Lich King" rather than "Bolvar" specifically.

There's a few dozen pages linking to this page but a bot could do the change in less than a second so that's not really a worry. Meanwhile trying to teach users to search for "the jailer" rather than "jailer" is bound to be a lost cause.

I know that this is unusual; but the Jailer is one of the main characters of this expansion, and arguably one of the most mysterious characters, who's getting the most attention as the source of every problem in every realm in every Covenant. He's essentially this expansion's Lich King or Deathwing and thus would benefit from this namespace- I think it's a shame that visitors looking for his page are sent to the jailer demon's page first, and it'd be better if we avoided that. -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 15:42, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

I would prefer keeping things as they are, and simply having "The Jailer" at "Zovaal", and "The Jailer" as a redirect to Zovaal. PeterWind (talk) 17:54, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
