Spelling

Seems Blizzard changed their minds again, there's a conflict of spelling in the alpha. -- Zeal (T/C)  23:11, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

I'd wait until Blizzards comes with an official version of the spelling. g0urra[T҂C] 23:26, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
Also technically we aren't supposed to post anything from Alpha unless Blizzard states it thelves, nda and all that.Baggins (talk) 00:21, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Is it Gun'Drak or Gundrak? Zeal seems to be in charge of the strict exemptions to that (mainly you can change information that is wrong, while not adding anything new).--SWM2448 00:25, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Its Gundrak in the RPG, definitely. Yes its possible things have changed in alpha, but like gourra said we should wait until Blizzard releases that information to the public, not by people breaking the alpha NDA. Two illegal accounts of illegal practice do not make a right.Baggins (talk) 00:28, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
What i've said here is the most border line i've gone, perhaps over it. How else am i supposed to say what was incorrect now might not be incorrect without misleading though? :/ I've not told you were the conflict is, what spellings are causing the conflict. Removing incorrect information is fine, and Gun'Drak has been used outside the alpha afaik (i even thought it was the right one before seeing the RPG used Gundrak). -- Zeal (T/C)  14:50, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Just wait for the official announcement, the page can be moved then. If you know of a link to an official announcement then it can be moved now.Baggins (talk) 15:11, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Gal'darah??

It says he's speculated to be the ruler of Gun'drak, But isnt Malakk the CONFIRMED ruler of the Drakkari and Gun'drak? Did he die or something? Maybe he's just the final boss of a wing? Or maybe malakk's leading the drakkari that havent gone crazy after sacrificing their animal gods? Im just wildly speculating but i'd like if someone could help clear up what happened to malakk --Whitedragon254 (talk) 02:44, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

I'd have to check but the adventure in Lands of Mystery might have lead to the possible death of Malakk. He at least served a part in the story.Baggins (talk) 18:53, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

Serpent's Tail?

If you look down the balcony from the Tomb (Colossus area) away from the bridge where you go to face the boss, you see a giant serpent tail down in the sewers. Now I haven't done this on Heroic yet so maybe it is explained there, but I have no idea what it might be. Might it be the same serpent that is carved into the pillars of Uldum, which may have broke through the gates of Uldum?

My thoughts exactly. This tail is clearly Blizzard's version of Jormungandr (Oh you crazy Norse Myth Lovers at Blizz), the World Serpent. Look how long it is. It must've been coiled up in Uldum, and finally broke out. I wouldn't be surprised if you could see parts of it in other places across Azeroth. My bet is it'll either show up in some future Gundrak raid (lots of speculation about this Re Patch 3.2) or Blizzard will leave it as a tantalizing easter egg to those who know their myths, showing up at random locations in the future. From BlizzCon 2011
Metzen: That is not the thing that is driving the trolls. Its a super secret WoW storyline. Thrall is going to leave Aggra and start dating Jaina.. in all seriousness I have no idea what it is but its really awesome! Sometimes really awesome stuff shows up ingame and we scramble to explain what it is. Welcome to developing video games. We put the WHAT in WHAT.
