The article states "but using mechanical power rather than muscle power." I am pretty sure guns work on a chemical principle? The chemical ignition of the powder blast the shot down the barrel. Mechanical would mean something like a slingshot or a catapult. --Dracomage 15:32, 7 Dec 2005 (EST)

Most definitely. 'Muscle power' and the chemical action of a gun are both mechanical, so you can't say a gun is mechanical and a bow isn't. LieAfterLie 22:33, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Gun Needs the same type of info as:Bow, specifically the Bullet / bandoliers would be nice to have added here. CJ 05:05, 9 Feb 2006 (EST)

Does equipping 2 bandoliers stack the ROF together? i suspect not.. but haven't had a chance to test it myself yet CJ 07:26, 14 Feb 2006 (EST)

Gun Skill (Dwarven and Tauren Hunters)

Dwarven hunters start with it; Tauren hunters do not. My source of information is simple. I play both a Tauren and a Dwarven Hunter. Burlingk 11:45, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes they do, but Dwarves have a racial skill that makes them better at guns. Keldelis 11:12, 1 July 2008

Help for a newbie!

I have reached 70/70 with guns. I am a dwarf hunter. I went to iron forge and talked to the guy and he offered me other weapons but no guns. same with the gnome guy. Is 70/70 the highest skill I can reach? I am lvl 14 hunter btw.

Any suggestions???

Max weapon skill is determined by level. Each time you level up, your maximum weapon skill goes up by 5. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 07:49, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

So basically what you are saying is that I will never have to go see a weapons trainer for anything but just to learn new skills? Thank you so much. If you dont reply to this I will assume that is correct. Ireally appreciate it!!
