Elementium Ingot disambig

Fair enough. Looking at the file histories shows that the Elementium Ingot used to be Elementium Ore, and the old Elementium Bar got moved to Hardened Elementium Bar before it became Enchanted Elementium Bar. There's a lot of F-ing disambiguation needed for all that switching. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 17:16, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

We shouldn't need a dismabig to the ingot from the bar at all, though. It's already disambig'd from the ore, which is what it used to be called, as well as the elementium page. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 17:31, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
... except for the unfortunate similarity between "Ingot" and "Bar". -- —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Eirik Ratcatcher (talk · contr).
...So you're saying that we should disambig from the bar to the "ore" because the new name of the ore has a similar meaning to "bar"? I'm not quite sure I follow the logic. Disambig pages are to help with navigation when someone might be looking for something else. While in a real-world sense ingots and bars are the same thing, the word ingot is never used in that sense in WoW, so I don't see why a disambig would be needed for anything but referencing the Blackwing Lair versions of these items that were renamed and vice-versa. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 19:14, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
Hmm... more like I'm you'd already made your point, really. OTOH, the pages we're talking about are rarely encountered items. It is even more likely that someone looking randomly would try a wrong name. And it's not like the don't have a plethora of wrong but plausible names to choose from. Witness your own problems re moving this conversation. In any case, Elementium Ingot needs rewritten some. Maybe I'll remember and get around to it some day. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 23:36, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
