When and where were these first mentioned? I can not find it. What was before their townhall page?--SWM2448 20:39, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

I think Metzen called them that in a interview or something--Ashbear160 (talk) 21:23, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
That does not help much. I think there was something before their townhall page and Metzen on lore.--SWM2448 03:46, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
Most of this seems to be from the townhall, tucked in places.--SWM2448 00:15, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

Edit war

Grammatically, the page is not necessarily cleaner. Legion ships are only assumed to be dimensional ships because they work the same way, and now the naaru ships do not get their own page. It is not known if a dimensional fortress is all five ships or just their flagship. As the ships are not connected or in a clean formation, I go with the latter. On that point, all of the ships are "wings" of the Tempest Keep "dungeon" so all usages of Tempest Keep in the context of all the ships being a single entity would be correct either way. The flagship's dungeon is called The Eye, but contains the Tempest Bridge, but we do not know what the bridge controls, so I do not know.--SWM2448 06:50, 7 January 2017 (UTC)

This page is not named "Naaru ships", it is named "Dimensional ships", so yes Naaru ships do not get their own pages right now, unless you want to make one for them. Since both Naaru ships and Legion ships are dimensional ships, this page should be about both.
As for the dimensional fortress, there are many mentions of the Exodar, Alcatraz etc. being satellite structures of the Tempest Keep, meaning the dimensional fortress is effectively all of them together. The central part, or the command ship I guess, is the Eye indeed. -- ShellShockLive (talk) 15:11, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
Dimensional ship isn't just a descriptor, it's what the naaru ships are actually named. Pointing out similarities to the Legion ships in a speculation section is fine, but unless there's a source that also calls them dimensional ships they otherwise shouldn't share a page. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 01:01, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
The thing is that Legion ships can too travel through dimensions, making them dimensional ships too. The link in the "Legion ship" article even redirects to this page, because Legion ships are dimensional ships. So this page should be about dimensional ships in general, with two sections : naaru ships, and Legion ships, both being dimensional ships. Or something along those lines. -- ShellShockLive (talk) 02:18, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
Again, naaru ships are actually named dimensional ships. This is not a genral page about "ships that travel through dimensions," it is specifically a page about the naaru ships that are officially, canonically, named dimensional ships. Just because another ship can travel through dimensions does not also make it a dimensional ship. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 02:42, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
Ah. I guess I was confused by the fact that the Legion ship page actually called them dimensional ships and redirected to this page, see here : http://i.imgur.com/OoxqO7w.png. Maybe we should remove that. -- ShellShockLive (talk) 02:52, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
It was already marked as [citation needed], and then removed when no citation was forthcoming. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 03:45, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
It was marked as [citation needed] recently, it wasn't there way when this discussion started. -- ShellShockLive (talk) 03:52, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
