Giant snake skeleton file discussion

I feel this and other giant snakes bear some resemblance to the theorized Old God Naga servants whose remains can be found in Desolace. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Siirenias (talk · contr).

They sort of do, but look more like just giant snakes, since they are long and don't seem to have arms or anything like those two snake things in Desolace. Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 07:20, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Giant snake? or sea serpent?Baggins (talk) 07:40, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
I am not sure about the 2 servants in Desolace, but the bones of the various ones you can find in the water were probably giant sea serpents. Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 07:51, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Well, one could argue that Hakkar is just a giant serpent...One could speculate that these giant serpents were servants of the Old Gods. Siirenias (talk)

Hakkar has more in common with the creatures in Desolace, considering he has appendages.Baggins (talk) 04:45, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, there is a difference. Hakkar and those two in Desolace not only have appendages but seem to have "walked" upright, while it looks like the bones in the water do not have appendages and were just giant sea serpents which did not "walk". That's a fairly good point, actually. But then, if he were a servant of an old god, he wouldn't be the only one currently worshiped. Siirenias (talk) 15:44, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Dead Goliath other places

goliath?

There seem to be a goliath in the water between the isle where Naias is summoned and the coast? At least it uses the same skull and since when have common snakes had bones, even large ones. TherasTaneel (talk) 15:22, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

Snakes in Warcraft seem to have bones. There is a similar skeleton on the road to Cenarion Hold, and another off the southern coast of Azuremyst Isle. They may be Goliaths. I do not know about that part.--SWM2448 22:10, March 12, 2010 (UTC)
