Unfortunately, the section on "Damage" presumes that the effect of this trinket is not refreshed upon each successful "non-crit". This is in error, and it will, in fact, refresh the 10 second countdown every time a non-crit spell hits the target.

I thought I'd add some of the analysis work I've been doing. I have slightly different numbers in my spreadsheet, perhaps someone can show me the error of my ways.
The spreadsheet attempts to show Effective Value of the +Spell Crit bonus based on a given starting crit chance.
