Um, just wondering, is there any evidence to say that this is Calia Menethil other than the fact they share the same first name? Warchiefthrall 17:01, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Anyone.... =) Warchiefthrall 22:12, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

What more proof do you need?--SWM2448 22:15, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Is there any hint in the quests she gives, what other characters say, the RPGs etc? It seems more likely that Blizz just forgot they had a previous character called Calia. Warchiefthrall 21:57, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Calia is a very uncommon name. The name alone is a strong evidence for speculation, much stronger than the speculation surrounding Aegwynn as Pained or Tabetha.--Baggins 04:29, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

I'm starting to be swayed by your aguement, but I still don't think it's her. Warchiefthrall 16:13, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

Considering she begins the quests involving traitors, that would be a good hint to her identity, as bliz loves to make you think. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 20:56, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
I think I know Who is her Husband, Look in Karazhan, Theres someone named "Hastings" He is not a boss, Nor a Ghoul, He is a Humanoid Spirit, And...We need to Inevestigate What are the Things that Connect Karazhan, and to the Menethil Family. I know that Medivh is well-connected to STormwind, (was) but What About Loraderon? we need to search further in. For Cenarius! 18:55, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
I agree with Cenarius. Although timelines need to be examined. If she is the Princess we can assume she was in Lordaeron until Arthas lost the plot and teamed up with the baddies. Which is fine, but Hastings in Karazhan in the Stormwind area seems to be a bit far fetched to be connected to Calia of Lordaeron Paynes 17:39, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Well according to the RPG Medivh defended Lordaeron from attack many times throughout the years. Although that's hardly strong enough evidence to connect hastings and Karazhan :p.Baggins (talk) 12:20, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
I highly doubt the Hastings guy in Karazhan is her husband.. Hastings is quite a common surname and as Paynes said, Hastings of Stormwind is very unlikely to be related to Calia of Lordaeron. But then again.. Calia is in SI:7. Perhaps she fled to Stormwind during the Third War where she met Hastings, joined SI:7 with him, and then was seperated with her being stationed at Theramore.. Maybe. Once WotLK is out, the WoW storyline would have Azeroth at relative peace (providing the Lich King actually gets owned, which I hope he can't be).. So little bits like this in WoW will likely be expanded on in future patches. I hope! User:Cierran/Sig 01:19, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
The Hastings was a caretaker for Karazhan right. Karazahn fell back in the 1st war. This ghost of this guy doesn't look young, therefore, He'd be much older now. Therefore, I doubt Hastings is her husband. They could be any other relation though. As for the Calia being a former Menethil, I don't know there is enough evidence to say anything, but then again, that doesn't mean that more can't be found later. With the new Arthas novel out, it seems even more likely to me that this is in fact Calia Menethil. The book mentions that Jaina and Calia were "thick as theives," so it would make sense for Calia to have gone with Jaina to Theramore. Skreeran (talk) 11:11, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

I see this to be no proof towards her being Calia Menethil. Just because two people have the same first name doesn't mean we're related, if so, a few of us wowwikians could be related. Also don't you think that their relationship might be over with him being...the Lich King? She appears to be spearheading an assault on Icecrown. BobNamataki (talk) 12:34, November 8, 2009 (UTC)

Anybody ever find another Hastings?

was another ever found?--Knighthonor (talk) 00:27, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
