Talk:Bonechewer clan

There is just a small problem with the course of the history, it board called in the article that the Bonechewer Clan had been destroyed by the clan Shadowmoon de Ner'zhul to recover the skull of Gul'dan.

That is just impossible if by “First Crossing” you mean “First war” and by “Second Crossing”, “Second War”.

Because the article specifies it's when the Second War is imminent that the Bonechewer Clan was attacked out but we know that it's at the time of Second War Gul'dan (still quite alive) betrays Orgim Doomhammer by giving up the battle field to find Sargeras's tomb to recover the body of the Dark Titan and the incredible capacities which go with.

It's following this attempt that he dies, shredded by the demons of the tomb. Its skull cannot thus exist with Gul'dan did not die.

Knowing he died in the tomb of Sargeras and the Bonechewer Clan never put his feet in Azéroth according to the article, therefore which he had no means of recovered skull of Gul'dan.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by TheDonK (talk · contr).

Gurtogg Bloodboil

  • Gurtogg Bloodboil is listed in "known members", although nothing is said in this regard in his article. Where does it come from? Veher18 (talk) 17:23, January 3, 2010 (UTC)
As I already said in my talk page, I guessed it up because he's surrounded by Bonechewer fel orcs. Just that, there's nor quest neither text around I know mentioning him being of any clan.--Lon-ami (talk) 17:35, January 3, 2010 (UTC)

The Attack on the Bonechewer clan

Wasn't the clan attacking the Bonechewer for Gul'dan's skull retconned in the BtDP novel to the Warsong Clan instead of the Shadowmoon Clan ? Dghunter (talk) 12:41, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, but wowwiki doesn't delete information from official lore sources no matter how outdated they could be nor does it make assumptions on retcons. All official information is simply presented and the readers decided what's a retcon and what isn't. This way the site remains neutral and stays out of these contraversies while providing the most accurate information. The passage you meantioned in particular however does need a citation linking it to the specific warcraft II mission.Warthok Talk Contribs 12:46, February 13, 2010 (UTC)
