Apparently, this frostsaber is over 10,000 years old. Any lore reason for this? --Soulerous (talk) 18:28, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

Nothing is for sure but Im going to speculate Elune blessed him to serve the High Priestess eternally. Inv helmet 44.pngInv helmet 119.png High Warlord Gentleman MoneygruberTheGoblinChieftain of the Gentleman Tribe (talk contribs) 21:52, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
More accurately... Is there any evidence that it's Ash'alah in that art piece and not another frostsaber? In fact, I don't recall her or any other frostsaber appearing in the War of the Ancients trilogy, so it's entirely possible that her appearance there was just a conceit of the artist and not actual lore. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 23:42, 25 November 2011 (UTC)

Shy-Rotam is 4000 years old, so it's likely the species can just grow that old. But bringing Shy-Rotam into this begs another question - 4000 years ago Tyrande saved Shy-Rotam, making the frostsabers eternal allies with the night elves - yet Ash'alah has been there since the War of the Ancients... huh? Was that a single exception? The first one to side with a night elf, the second coming 6000 years later? --Amargaard (talk) 15:00, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
