High elven archers get sex changes.

It should be noted that during the second war all archers were male while the 3rd they were femail. Any ideas? Maybe when the elves left the allience after the second war because of the lack of military personal that the elves had a sudern shift in there military ranking. Including a great number of female archers that exceeded the male as they were demoted to foot-soldiers.

Alleria was archer/ranger in Warcraft II, ;). In lore both males and females could join the archer/ranger corps.Baggins 06:55, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

From a technical standpoint, warcraft III just used female archers because they already had a model for night elf archers, and it saved money to use the same one with a slight color change, rather than make new model for male archers.Baggins 06:58, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
