Stone of Spark

The Stone of Spark was one of three items imbued with the power of the Sunwell by Belo'vir Salonar during the Troll Wars, along with the 
[Stone of Light] and the 
[Stone of Flame]. While the other two survived for millennia to come, the Stone of Spark was shattered, though Belo'vir kept its fragments safely hidden in the Magisters' Terrace.
After the Scourge invasion of Quel'Thalas, the stones were displaced by the destruction of the terrace. It was believed that a powerful Scourge agent had acquired the stones and planned to use them against the blood elves, though Astalor Bloodsworn recovered them from Quel'Danas himself and brought them to Silvermoon. Arming his bow with one of the fragments from the Stone of Spark, Lor'themar Theron shot and killed a risen Dar'Khan Drathir in the Ghostlands, whose undead body was disintegrated by the fragment's power.[1]
