Notes
- The "sobers up" effect refers to removing inebriation (see drunk) caused by drinking alcohol. However, it may take more than one espresso to do so, as it has a anti-inebriation value of -15[1]. In comparison, "fairly weak" beverages (aka simply "weak") such as
[Bottle of Dalaran Noir] have a value of +5[2], "typical" beverages (aka "standard alcohol") such as 
[Flask of Stormwind Tawny] have +10[3], "strong" beverages such as 
[Volatile Rum] have +20[4], and "extremely potent" (aka simply "potent") beverages such as 
[Darkmoon Special Reserve] have +50[5]. Apparently, a character is capable of reaching an "inebriation-limit" of between 100 and 150[6], which suggests that a maximum of 6-10 espressos are required to remove it.
Patch changes
Patch 4.0.6 (2011-02-08): Now requires 
[Refreshing Spring Water] instead of 
[Fresh Water]. Description changed from "and sobers you up" to "and sobers you up somewhat". The anti-inebriation value was apparently increased from -5 to -15[7]. - Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Added.
