Snow beasts appeared in the canceled Warcraft Adventures. They were white-furred, bestial creatures that dwelt in the Frostwolf Settlement area. Despite not being outwardly hostile to Thrall, the males seemed fond of head butting against competitors, to the point that they could lose their horns, which were described a hollow and sturdy. They were distinctly different from the wendigo that also appeared in the area.

Thrall tricked a snow beast into breaking down the door to the cave that contained the Axe of Durotan.
