Sister Quan-li was one of the Shado-Pan agents chosen to aid Vol'jin and his companions in their attempt to thwart the resurrection of Warlord Kao, a general of the Thunder King. However under Tyrathan Khort's urging, the group helped free captured Alliance soldiers. This action ultimately led Sister Quan-li away from her companions as she helped guide the Alliance forces back to their encampments, while dodging the Zandalari sent after them. While some men were captured, Sister Quan-li was able to bring the rest of the group back to their bases. Vol'jin - who was surprised but pleased at her survival - surmised that after reaching the Alliance, Sister Quan-li would inform them of the Zandalari and the Thunder King's efforts and that Horde spies would bring that information to the Horde, allowing for both the Horde and Alliance to strike at the Thunder King before he could try to conquer Pandaria.[1]
