Sheepie is a prized sheep owned by sheep farmer Chee Chee, located around the Valley of the Four Winds. Though Chee Chee greatly cares for Sheepie, he is annoyed with the sheep's habit of wandering away from the rest of the flock and getting lost, having to ask adventurers to locate him several times.
Sheepie's wandering, perhaps not surprisingly, ends up getting him killed by a Kunzen hozen, Krungko Fingerlicker. His devastated owner has the adventurer lure Krungko out and killed in revenge.
After becoming best friends with Chee Chee, he mails a gift of 
[Windwool Cloth] woven from Sheepie's wool, and it's implied that the accompanying 
[Exotic Leather] was recycled from Sheepie's hide.
