Shadow Resistance is a passive racial ability of all undead and draenei characters, granting them a 1% reduction to all Shadow damage taken.
Patch changes
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): No longer grants Shadow Resistance. Now reduces all Shadow damage taken by 1%. 
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Effect changed to increase resistance to harmful Shadow effects by an amount equal to the character's level. Previously, chance to be hit by Shadow spells was reduced by 2%. 
Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Redesigned. No longer grants +10 Shadow Resistance. 
Patch 1.1.0 (2004-11-07): Added.
