This item is an imbue, and does not stack with other imbues.
With the introduction of Naxxramas, demand for this increased dramatically as a mat for Greater Shadow Protection Potion.
The Shadow Bolt almost completely behaves like a normal 
[Shadow Bolt] (Rank 3). It equally benefits from spell damage and it can proc 
[Aftermath] and on-spell-hit-effects. However, it is not capable of proccing [Improved Shadow Bolt].
