Scavell was the thunder lizard pet of Aegwynn. She captured him after her four hundredth birthday because she felt lonely. Aegwynn always had a fondness for these beasts, and viewed domesticating one as a challenge. She had named him after her old mentor Magna Scavell.

• Aegwynn also referred to it as a kodo, saying that's what thunder lizards were called back then.
