Ruul Snowhoof is a tauren druid and quest giver located deep in Thistlefur Hold in Ashenvale, where he is seen in 
[Bear Form] and being held in a cage by the Thistlefur furbolgs. The furbolgs believe him to be an actual bear and are, for some reason, starving him to death. Ruul asks Horde players to free him and escort him to safety for the quest 
[7-30] Freedom to Ruul, and afterward asks them to speak with his sister Yama Snowhoof in Splintertree Post.
