Ravael was a night elf who sought out Illidan Stormrage in Outland to fight the Burning Legion. He told Vandel that he had "lost everything," but did not elaborate further. He survived the rites to become a demon hunter, but lost control during a training duel with Vandel and assumed his demon form. Vandel killed Ravael and consumed his soul to heal his own wounds.
