In World of Warcraft

In World of Warcraft, rank can mean:

• The stepwise effectiveness of a talent in a talent tree. A talent with less than 2 ranks could be said to use only 1 rank, or no ranks at all.
• Ranking in the military hierarchy of your faction.
• Your position and assigned privileges within a guild.

The subject of this section has been removed from World of Warcraft but is present in Classic Era.

• The relative effectiveness or level of a spell compared to a spell of the same type.

In Warcraft: Orcs & Humans

In Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, Rank is a title given to the player at the end of every mission depending on your Outcome and Score. The results screen will show your Outcome, Rank, Score, and other information.
