Quarterflash's Homing Bot is provided for the quest  [15-30] The Search for Slinkin. Activating it will create a small robot that tracks down to the Wintergarde Mine.

Its speed matches yours; you can mount up to get it to move faster.

Note that using the bot is completely optional. The quest can be completed without using it.
