Of all the sins a soul can be burdened with, Pride is the most... delicious.
It presents the greatest challenge when trying to exsanguinate this burden from the souls that are sent to us. It takes time, ceremony, dedication.
To this end may the Medallion of Pride be forever upon the neck of only our most skillful and patient venthyr.
May it grant them authority over the Ceremony Ward so that they can use its vast power as an instrument to strip these souls of their burdens and fulfill our noble purpose.
