Patch changes

  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-08-07): Damage decreased by 10%. Does not apply to PvP.
  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-07-24): Damage increased by 22% in PvP Combat (was 16%).
  • Dragonflight Patch 10.1.5 (2023-07-11): Damage reduced by 12%.
  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-06-05): Damage increased by 10% (does not apply in PvP combat).
  • Dragonflight Patch 10.1.0 (2023-05-02): Damage increased by 16% in PvP combat.
  • Dragonflight Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 3 Fire talent (was a level 19 Fire ability).
  • Shadowlands Patch 9.1.0 (2021-06-29): Fixed an issue that prevented Phoenix Flames from dealing damage if the spell hit while the Mage was not in line of sight of the target.
  • Shadowlands Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13):
    • Phoenix Flames is no longer a Talent and is learned by all Fire Mages at level 19 (was a level 60 Fire talent). Now Phoenix Flames has a 25 second recharge time (was 30 seconds), damage increased by 15%, and no longer guarantees a critical strike.
    • Now deals reduced damage on secondary targets.
  • Battle for Azeroth Hotfix (2018-08-07): Phoenix Flames's single-target damage now correctly hits Totems and similar targets.
  • Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): added.
