Pei-Ling is a pandaren from the Krasarang Wilds. She was one of the ten hopefuls who decided to take The Trial of the Red Blossoms in order to join the Shado-Pan. While she was easily able to pass the first test, the second test proved more dangerous as not did one of one initiates were killed by snake but the surviving three were attacked by a sha. However, by working together, Pei-Ling, Heavy Chan, and Ten were able to overcome the Sha and after recuperating Master Nurong decided that their final test would be to swear the Shado-pan oath. As such Pei-Ling and her companions did so, thus fulfilling their goal of becoming members of the Shado-Pan.
