Path of Inception

The Path of Inception^{[26.2, 53.5]} is the western entry point to Zereth Mortis and the first part of the realm that players see when they arrive here with Pelagos at the start of the Zereth Mortis campaign. It is situated on top of a vast lake of solid water which is surrounded by hexagonal stone structures and shrouded in a dense white fog limiting sight. Automa Servitors can be seen tending to structures on the path leading up to a vast gate allowing entry into the Genesis Vestibule and Zereth Mortis proper.

The gate is initially closed, but Pelagos and the player character unlock it with Firim's help during  [60] Long Lost Firim.
