Moonkin Egg was available from the shop or the In-Game Store for $10 or €10. It was released on November 29, 2010 along with 
[Lil' Ragnaros].[1]
Opening it will give you a Moonkin Hatchling for your faction.
With the See You Later Bundle on 20 December 2018, this pet was available at a discounted price with other items. They are no longer available for purchase as it entered hibernation in the Blizzard Archive as of 19 January 2019.[2]
