Mike Ybarra is the former president of Blizzard Entertainment.
He first joined Blizzard in 2019 as executive vice president and general manager, after spending 22 years at Microsoft on their Xbox team.[1] In August 2021, Ybarra and Jennifer O'Neal became co-heads of Blizzard, in the wake of J. Allen Brack's departure and its associated controversy.[2] O'Neal stepped down in November of that same year, leaving Ybarra as sole president.[3]
He announced his departure in January 2024, shortly after Blizzard's acquisition by Microsoft concluded.[4]
