Metamorphic Crystals could originally be obtained from 
[Blingtron 5000 Gift Package] despite never having purpose.
As an ingredient
They were used in two recipes during the testing phases along with 
[Alchemical Catalyst] and 
[Starspeckle Mushroom] before the WoD Alchemy was simplified.
Patch changes
Patch 6.0.3 (2014-10-28): Changed from uncommon to poor quality and made unobtainable. - Hotfix (2014-11-17): Changed from rare to uncommon quality.
