Marks of Honor are a currency used to buy PvP items, replacing [Honor Points] and [Conquest Points] in Legion. They are awarded in most crates of battlefield goods awarded for winning a battleground as well as some PvP world quests. Additionally, stacks of five can be purchased in exchange for 2000 [Honor] from Purveyor Zo'kuul in Oribos via  [Orboreal Distinguishment].
