Maiev Shadowsong is the leader of the Watchers, an elite group of night elves who were the jailers of Illidan Stormrage for 10,000 years, until Tyrande Whisperwind freed Illidan so that he might help in the battle against the Burning Legion.
She may have thrown this coin during the time when she, Tyrande and Malfurion were on an expedition in Silverpine Forest pursuing Illidan.
