- Illidan Stormrage says: Your pet lich professes to have a plan that requires the bones of those sacrificed to the fel. Help him if you think it will help our cause, but keep that... thing... in check.

- Illidan Stormrage says: An intriguing use of necromancy. Dark magic has its uses.
Notes
- The world quest is available only to death knights.
- The world quest starts upon entering the Soul Ruin area in the Broken Shore.
During this quest, Amal'thazad is present near the entrance to the area, protected by two Knights of the Ebon Blade. He has the following gossip text:
- The Burning Legion continues to try to recreate the masterpiece that was the Scourge.
- They turn to their Nathrezim who make puppets of bone.
- They turn to these fallen Spiritwalkers, who simply meddle at these magics.
- I am here, on behalf of the Ebon Blade, to observe and judge. And to lend assistance to you, hero, should you require it.
Upon completing this world quest, Amal'thazad will say the following and cast Jagged Bone Wings on you:
- Amal'thazad says: Ah! Excellent specimens, Deathlord. Here, you may find this useful.
Trivia
The Jagged Bone Wings are similar in appearance to those of Sarah Kerrigan from StarCraft.
