Legendary ring questline

The legendary ring questline was a questline introduced in Warlords of Draenor that had the garrison commander help Archmage Khadgar hunt down Gul'dan. During the questline, the commander goes on various quests for Khadgar leading them through all of the raids of the expansion and some of its dungeons. As they progressed through the questline the commander would be awarded with an increasingly powerful ring. The events of the questline happen more or less concurrently with the events of the Garrison Campaign and Tanaan Jungle storyline. The questline was removed with the launch of Legion.

The questline was divided into four chapters, and the completion of each of them awarded an achievement:  [Chapter I: Call of the Archmage],  [Chapter II: Gul'dan Strikes Back],  [Chapter III: The Foundry Falls] and  [Chapter IV: Darkness Incarnate].
