Previous H [7-30] Between a Rock and a Thistlefur

Located in the Greenpaw Village, Northeast of Mystral Lake, just south of the main road.

Objective

Place  [Senani's Banner] on the Foulweald Totem Mound. Do not let the furbolgs destroy the banner. Defeat Chief Murgut and bring  [Murgut's Totem] to Karang Amakkar at Zoram'gar.

Description

<name>, another tribe of Furbolgs, the Foulweald, live southeast of Astranaar. They are not as many as the Thistlefur, but their ferocity poses a future threat. With a show of force, we can remove that threat.

Take this banner, go to the Foulweald village and place it on their totem mound. They will try to destroy the banner, but hold your ground until their chief, Murgut, appears to save face for the tribe. Bring me the totem he carries.

Gather your allies, <name>. This is no task for a single <class>.

Rewards

You will receive one of the following
Inv shirt 13.png [Boorguard Tunic] Inv pants 03.png [Cobalt Legguards]

Progress

Did you defeat Chief Murgut, <name>? Did you retrieve his Foulweald Totem?

Completion

Good work, <name>. Issuing that challenge to the Foulwealds and defeating their leader sends them a strong message:

The Horde is not to be trifled with.

I don't believe that tribe will be giving us much trouble for a long time.

Notes

  • Take the path into Greenpaw Village and turn left. You will see a small hill with two large totems near it as well as two furbolg huts. This is the totem mound. You must stand on top of the mound in the center to place the banner.

Patch changes

  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Removed.
  • WoW Icon update.png Patch 1.3.0 (2005-03-07): The King of the Foulweald quest event in Ashenvale now has the Enraged Foulwealds spawn as soon as Karang's Banner is placed.
