Keelhaul "Keely" Watt was the youngest member of the Wavestrider crew, being 10 years old. He was the assistant of Jonas Cobb, the ship's cook. After his betrayal, Keely was promoted to the position, even though he wasn't very good at it. Despite his young age, he used a lot of swear words directed at Old Cobb. When the Wavestrider was attacked, Keely, armed with a cutlass, targeted Old Cobb and tried to tire the traitor, or so it seemed to Aram. Once Aram attacked Jonas, Keely, swearing, rushed to join Aram but the former cook heard the approaching boy and stabbed him in the belly, killing him instantly.[1]
