John Chalfant is a former member of Blizzard Entertainment. Having been hired as a Cinematics Artist in 1998,[1] he worked on Diablo II, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, and World of Warcraft.[2]
Chalfant modeled and textured the human footman in The Prophecy, the first trailer for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. He hid his initials, "jgc", on the cheek guards of the footman's helmet.[1] The letters can be seen in the filigree design on either side of the footman's nose.
