Jerias Bloodvein is the undead captain of the Garrote. He is a member of the Bloodsail Buccaneers. He has a grudge against Edwin VanCleef, due to VanCleef cheating Bloodvein, taking his gold and even a woman that Bloodvein had his eye on, and then killing him for good measure.
He would later abduct Jimmy Blackridge and his friends Liam and Bram Woodring off the coast of Westfall, forcing the three of them into his crew to replace two dead Bloodsail Buccaneers that had been killed by the Defias Brotherhood.
He was killed in a duel to the death by Jimmy Blackridge, after he and his crew attempted a raid on the Defias Brotherhood's headquarters, The Deadmines.[1]
