Hunt: Shadehounds
Hunt: Shadehounds is a bi-weekly event at [53, 79] in the Prodigum of the Beastwarrens of the Maw.
Players must have unlocked access to the Beastwarrens by reaching Ambivalent standing with Ve'nari and completing the quest 
[60] Rule 6: Concealment is Everything.
Scenario steps
Stage 1: Essence Feast
- Mawsworn are shattering souls and feeding them to Shadehounds. Put an end to their rituals.
- Stop the feeding rituals (6)
Groups containing a Mawsworn Soulfeeder and two Ravenous Shadehounds are feeding on an Agonized Soul. Take out six groups.
Stage 2: Gorged Shadehound
- A ritual has succeeded and must be stopped.
- Defeat the Gorged Shadehound
Once enough of the shadehounds have been killed, the stage will advance, and the Gorged Shadehound appears. Attack it, and once it takes some damage, it will drop combat and escape into the Echoing Caverns. Follow it inside and interact with the chain to drop down to the lower layer of the cave safely, then finish it off.
Final Stage: Hunt Complete
- The threat has been neutralized for the moment.
Players will gain 1000 points of threat (100% of a level) of the Eye of the Jailer, ~300 
[Stygia], and 525 standing with Ve'nari.
Make sure to loot the Gorged Shadehound for the rare drop, the 
[Mawsworn Soulhunter], one of two mounts that work in the Maw.
