Hotfix is a young goblin working with Daisy in Speedbarge Bar on Fizzle and Pozzik's Speedbarge. The two are very good friends. Hotfix is a little yellowish-green goblin with green eyes and plays the violin.
Some time after the Cataclysm, Aramar Thorne, Makasa Flintwill, and their friends arrived at the bar and witnessed his play. When he approached them for money, Makasa showed him a gold coin and told him they were looking for Daisy. In exchange for the coin, he arranged a private meeting, where he accompanied his mistress. As she explained, they were busier this time because of the MEGA's race at the Speedbarge. After Makasa and Daisy spoke, they agreed on providing help. After it was done, Hotfix took them to their rooms and gave them food. It was then that Aramar sketched both of them.[1] After he was done, Daisy and Hotfix took the travelers to Gazlowe who was to provide them with the needed help, in exchange of Aram becoming his pilot in the race.[2] The travelers stayed at the Speedbarge for the next days helping Gazlowe, and the bartenders encountered the Gordok's Elite ogres who were searching for Aram.[3] The travelers then moved from the bar to Gazlowe's yacht, and Hotfix and Daisy continued to communicate with the kids of the happenings in the Speedbarge.[4]
Just prior to the race, to protect Aram from the ogres, the travelers and Gazlowe thought of a plan, where Hotfix bravely volunteered to take part, even against Daisy's wishes. First, he watched closely the ogres and rowed a boat with Pozzik to Gazlowe. On the day of the race, Aram won the race. After winning the race, a victory lap followed, where the second part of the plan occurred. Makasa used the boat to take it in line with Aram's Steamwhistle, and Hotfix quickly traded places with the boy and finished the lap. At the end of the lap, the ogre Throgg grabbed the pilot out of the speedboat.[5] To his anger, the boy was not human, but a goblin. The ogre tore his tunic, looking for Aram's compass, but found none. For a brief moment, it looked like Throgg would squish the goblin, but Hotfix bit him instead. Throgg dropped the goblin, who fell into the water and vanished.[6]
After he got out, Charnas sketched Hotfix as the winner of the race since Aram and his friends left immediately for Gadgetzan. Hotfix posed on Gazlowe's shoulders, holding a trophy. Once in Gadgetzan, Aram met Charnas who showed him the sketch.[7]

Although not stated, he is likely a member of the Bilgewater Cartel like the other goblins on the Speedbarge.
