The Heartsbane Triad is the first boss of Waycrest Manor. It is composed of Sister Malady, Sister Solena, and Sister Briar.
Adventure Guide
Among the first to give themselves over to the Heartsbane, these siblings have each mastered their own specialized form of magic. Now they seek to obtain greater power through wielding their focusing iris.
Overview
Whichever Sister has Focusing Iris gains energy, and when they reach their maximum, they cast Dire Ritual. Inflicting enough damage makes a sister drop the iris, and another sister will pick it up.
Damage Dealers
- Make sure to focus the sister that has Focusing Iris.
- Move away from your party when affected by Unstable Runic Mark.
- Players affected by Soul Manipulation need to be damaged in order to break the spell.
Healers
- Sister Briar's Jagged Nettles leaves a grievous wound on the target.
- Witches attack random party members when not carrying the Focusing Iris.
Tanks
- Only the sister who has Focusing Iris needs to be tanked.
- Players affected by Soul Manipulation need to be damaged in order to break the spell.
- When empowered by the focusing iris, each sister uses their primary attack against only you.
Abilities
Focusing Iris — The caster is empowered by the focusing iris, increasing their energy by 2 every 1 sec. At 100 Energy, the caster casts Dire Ritual.
Dire Ritual 
— Increases Arcane damage taken by 5%.
- Sister Briar
Bramble Bolt 
— Hurls a jagged splinter of bone at the enemy, inflicting 7 Physical damage. Holding the focusing iris increases the damage done by Bramble Bolt.
Jagged Nettles — Strikes the enemy with razor-sharp nettles, inflicting 37 Physical damage and leaves a grievous wound, inflicting 4 Physical damage every 1 sec until the target is healed above 90% of their maximum health.
Aura of Thorns 
— Sister Briar wraps herself in a thorny aura, inflicting 4 Physical damage every time she is struck.
- Sister Malady
Ruinous Bolt — Fires a bolt of ruinous energy, inflicting 6 Shadow damage to the target. Holding the focusing iris increases the damage done by Ruinous Bolt.
Unstable Runic Mark 
— Marks all nearby enemies with cursed runes, inflicting 3 Shadow damage every 1 sec for 6 sec. Upon expiration, or if the mark is dispelled, the rune explodes, inflicting an additional 18 Shadow damage to all allies within 6 yards.
Aura of Dread — Sister Malady emits a dreadful aura, inflicting 2 Shadow damage every 1 sec. This effect stacks. Stacks are removed when moving.
- Sister Solena
Soul Bolt — Fires a bolt of crippling energy, inflicting 6 Shadow damage to the target. Holding the focusing iris increases the damage done by Soul Bolt.
Soul Manipulation 
— The caster manipulates the soul of its target, charming them.
Aura of Apathy — Sister Solena emits a dreadful aura, reducing healing done by 50%.

Trivia
- The Triad is likely inspired by the three Graeae (or the Grey Sisters) of Greek mythology, who shared one eye between them. The hero Perseus stole their eye and ransomed it for information on their sister, the Gorgon Medusa.
