Guo-Lai Recipes

From Warcraft Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

In Patch 5.4 a family of cooking recipes were added to the contents of Ancient Guo-Lai Caches. These are all in the +300 stat family (+450 for the stamina food). An advantage of these recipes is they do not require an ingredient purchased using [Ironpaw Token].

You can get these recipes as a drop without actually having 600 in the required cooking school. You must have 600 in the listed school to learn the receipe. Preliminary reports say you can not get the recipes as a drop unless your regular cooking skill is 525 or higher.

An unusual feature of these recipes is that they include ingredients with a 2-hour time limit.

Recipes in this family

+300 Strength
1  [Aged Mogu'shan Cheese] 5 [Fresh Silkfeather Hawk Eggs]
+300 Agility
1 [Ancient Pandaren Spices] 5 [Fresh Pomfruit]
+300 Intellect
1 [Ancient Pandaren Spices] 5 [Delicate Blossom Petals]
+300 Spirit
1 [Aged Balsamic Vinegar] 1 [Fresh Strawberries] 2 [Fresh Shao-Tien Rice]
+450 Stamina
1 [Aged Mogu'shan Cheese] 5 [Fresh Lushroom]
+300 Mastery
1 [Aged Balsamic Vinegar] 5 [Fresh Mangos]

The first ingredient in each recipe is a drop from the Guo-Lai Mogu. The rice appears as an item inside Guo-Lai Halls. The eggs, petals, pomfruit, and lushrooms are found in different areas of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. The strawberries and mangos are sold by Merchant Tantan at the Setting Sun Garrison in the southwest section of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
