Abilities

All of these abilities were available to mage players in patch 3.0.2, though the versions used by players may have changed or become unavailable in the years since.

  • Spell arcane blink.png Blink — Teleports the caster 20 yd. forward unless something is in the way. Also frees the caster from any bonds.
  • Spell frost icestorm.png Blizzard — Ice shards pelt the target area doing 50 Frost damage over 8 sec.
  • Spell frost glacier.png Cone of Cold — Inflicts Frost damage to enemies in a cone in front of the caster, reducing their movement speed for 8 sec.
  • Spell frost frostnova.png Frost Nova — Inflicts Frost damage to nearby enemies, immobilizing them for up to 8 sec.
  • Spell frost frostbolt02.png Frostbolt — Inflicts Frost damage to an enemy and reduces its movement speed for 4 sec.
  • Spell frost frost.png Ice Block — You become encased in a block of ice, protecting you from all physical attacks and spells for 4 sec, but during that time you cannot attack, move or cast spells. Also causes Hypothermia, preventing you from recasting Ice Block for 30 sec.
  • Spell frost frostblast.png Ice Lance — Deals 275 Frost damage to an enemy target. Causes triple damage against Frozen targets.
  • Spell nature polymorph.png Polymorph — Transforms an enemy into a sheep, forcing it to wander around for up to 6 sec. While wandering, the sheep cannot attack or cast spells. Any damage will transform the target back into its normal form. Only one target can be polymorphed at a time. Only works on beasts, dragons, giants, humanoids, and critters.

For player versions, see [Blink], [Blizzard], [Cone of Cold], [Frost Nova], [Frostbolt], [Ice Block], [Ice Lance], and [Polymorph].
