Goblin Workshop was a World of Warcraft fan site with an extensive database of all sorts of things, similar to Allakhazam or Thottbot. The site was last updated on October 14, 2008 and last archived version was on November 23, 2010.
Perhaps the primary distinguishing feature of Goblin Workshop was that in searching for any given item, it would say whether it was junk, a quest reward, professionally crafted, etc. Under each item, it indicated specifically which quest would award that item.
It also had very good information on subzones, which was of value to editors at the time.
Further, Goblin Workshop had maps for mobs like on Allakhazam, but unlike Allakhazam, it also offered a list of maps of all creatures involved in a quest.
