With patch 6.0.2 the new item system was added, and with that i wounder if there is any plans to update the Item template with support for how leather, mail and plate now they got dual primary stats and so that item bonuses or versions can added/linked with ease. Use parameters "|agility/strength=", "|strength/intellect=", and "|agility/intellect=" for the swapping primary stats. --k_d³ 17:46, 12 November 2014 (UTC)

Thats perfect! Only thing missing now is an easy way to add multiple versions of same item to the item panel or a uniformed standard for it. (Haghala (talk) 18:43, 12 November 2014 (UTC))

We don't have an automatic (or easy) solution, but look at {{Versions/Item}} (see {{Versions2}} for documentation) and an example page to see how we currently handle multiple versions of an item. That template was created back when multiple different items had the same name (that is, all items before Warlords), but it will work for multiple versions of the same item as well. --k_d³ 21:27, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
