I've noticed that Category:Warrior_sets contains a vast number of entries that are not, in fact, sets. Instead, they are items IN the set. Ham-handedly, IMO, the sets themselves were pushed to the top of the category sort pile in a way entirely unhelpful.

I intend to create Category:Warrior set items as a subcategory of Warrior sets, to contain the various items. I don't know but what the various things like {{Tooltip}} may try to thwart me, though. And I am doubting I have the resolution to make this change to all classes.

Any help from the peanut gallery? --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 20:19, December 23, 2009 (UTC)

Having them separated sounds good to me. Not sure if the changes to tooltip will thwart you... but you could ask Kd3. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 20:23, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
I think I've pointed this out before somewhere, it's a good idea. --Pcj (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 20:26, December 23, 2009 (UTC)

Corollary: Added Category:Class set items. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 20:31, December 23, 2009 (UTC)

Looking things over, I'm wondering if the categories should instead be "Class armor set items", "Warrior armor set items", "warrior armor sets", etc. There may well be non-armor sets, but they're few and far between. The name, though, puts them in with the armor sets...
For the moment, though, this is radical enough for me. One change at a time. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 20:46, December 23, 2009 (UTC)

Looking for information: I know that the gladiator sets mix-and-match. While I *think* that the Dreadnaught Battlegear etc do as well, I don't know that for certain. Having already committed that particular indiscretion, I'm reluctant to pass on to the Tier 9 armor sets with a simple guess. Anyone able to confirm/deny with authority? --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 00:26, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

You mean such as several classes use the same tier sets? Nope. There are a few off-tier items which match though, but they aren't part of the set. --Pcj (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 00:35, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
No... a more particular example question is "are there three different Wrynn's Plate set bonuses, or will any Wrynn's Plate item satisfy the bonus requirement". --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 01:04, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
There are two, one for each spec (tank and DPS), the two sets and bonuses don't mingle. But the 10/25/25 heroic sets do. --Pcj (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 01:13, December 24, 2009 (UTC)
