Forum:RPG sections
Continuing from User talk:Sandwichman2448#Earthen and User talk:Mordecay#Re: Earthen:
The RPG info is really pain in the ass for at least two persons and I'd like to hear more comments on it! I've quickly looked into the Project:LORE policy but didn't find it. If there is a policy, please, link it.
Anyho, the question is whether to have all the non-canon info moved into their own section (which I apparently prefer and have been doing for all the time, and some other ppl as well). There is, however, a concern that when it's done, said section is disorganized. Then there is the example of the Earthen page - though I also really like tags I somehow do not like this case. In my humble opinion, canon and non-canon info should be reorganized into sections and not within sections with the tag. Said RPG section should be made into bullet point list as User:DeludedTroll said if it's only a few sentences or given their own subsections as it has been always done. --Mordecay (talk) 13:00, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
- Agreed. I personally find it a bit annoying to read through the Earthen page since it feels like every other section is non-canon, leading to a lot of hopping between sections in order to read the info that's actually considered canon. I prefer having one separate section dedicated to the RPG info below the canon sections, so that you can read the non-canon stuff if you want to without having it interfere with the canon sections. But that's just my opinion. -- DeludedTroll (talk • contribs) 10:13, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
- Putting the RPG information in its own section (like it has been done in plenty of other articles) does make it easier for the reader. Just like Project:LORE says, having its own section makes it easier to distinguish what's canon and not. --g0urra[T҂C] 12:55, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
