I'm new to editing wikis and I think I may have made a mistake. I was editing my server's page Server:Arathor_Europe and tried to create a new page to move a large list from it, though I believe I created it in the wrong place.

Server:Arathor Europe/Hall of Fame

It should probably be listed within Category:Server:Arathor_Europe only, but it also appears in Category:Servers

I'm not sure how to do this though. --Raeli87 (talk) 10:02, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi, there's actually an easy fix for this, though you might not like it. The list is against policy and so I've deleted it. Thanks. --Pcj (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 13:19, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

Help:Making_people_lists (Page Deleted) This page talks about creating such lists. Perhaps it should be removed then. The content that was in the page I made was already on my Server's page, it just seemed somewhat pointless for the main page, so I was trying to move it to somewhere it might be more appropriate. FYI Raeli87, when you link to pages on Wowpedia, you don't have to make them like linklabel, you can use local wiki links like linklabel or just pagename.
Also, Pcj should have been a bit more clear. Making people lists is okay, but making people lists with non-neutral-point-of-view comments is not. --Gengar orange 22x22.png Fandyllic (talk · contribs) 10:57 AM PST 5 Dec 2010

I see, well the content wasn't anything I had created really, I noticed a few profanities which I removed, but left it largely unchanged. The list had been there for years, certainly since vanilla, did something change with the switch to wowpedia, or is it something that just slipped through?Raeli87 (talk) 21:24, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

I think it slipped through. D.D. Corkum (T / C) 21:31, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, the NPOV policy has been in effect for awhile now, we just didn't catch it on that page (or the help page which probably predated it). Thanks for pointing it out. --Pcj (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 23:18, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
